Dear KYP SDC,
We are releasing the ERA update on Friday 11^th  Oct 2019 around 2:30 PM, we request you to please update the ERA on priority basis.

ERA update version will 19.09.06

What’s New:

·         Login restriction for learner and LF:

Learner login will allowed between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM only.

·         Batch start date validation on day start:

Now LF cannot perform day start before actual batch start

·         Saving content & ref material stats:

This functionality will verify the availability contents in local server machine

·         Biometric Verification for learner and staff

·         blank row issue in LF biometric report fix

Please note that you may observe the following for initial two to three days.

• ·         CPU utilization will be high
• ·         Health Check will take time

Note:

Due non availability of UPS, ERA server directly gets shut down in power cut, it is expected as per requirements mentioned on BSDM website all SDCs must have power backup facility in power cut situation. Take proper care of your ERA server machine to avoid heating related issues, make proper arrangements (Fan, Cooler, AC, etc.) for ERA server.

Important:

This update will be compulsory to perform any activity in ERA, without update LF will not allowed to perform day start, perform health check, data upload, start classroom etc.You will find “Framework version mismatch” message while doing any of this activity. This time ERA update will take time, as it will take complete backup of existing files from local server and then it will start to download latest files from central server. It will require good internet speed for fast installation.

We request you to install this update in coming two days if possible and upload the data which is pending from many day

For update ERA please do not reinstall ERA or restart ERA again and again
